9V DC, 1 x PP3 size battery. Does accept an adapter (undefined but 2mm plug) through socket on the top side on the far left. Battery compartment has a sticker recommending alkaline batteries for longer usage. The back sticker states that battery must be removed if AC adaptor is used. | ||
| Case: | Stylish two-piece smooth black plastic case which has its front half covered by wrap-around brushed aluminium panel. Top and bottom panels are heavily ridged. Display escutcheon is show through plastic painted silver for the logo and name. Purple display filter gives a clear display but the bubble lens limit the angle of view quite a lot. Keys are squishy and springy but my example exhibits bad bounce. | ||

Futuristic design with nice purple display filter. Very compact, makes me believe this was designed for the "handbag" market. Sound logic let down by only seven digit negative numbers. Absolutely no other components than the chip and display. Original case is just about big enough, made from soft black plastic with an open top and half-moon cut-outs. Branded version of the Universal Executive. |

The box pictured on the left does not mention
Accuron or the model number (which may be on the top end that is missing on
this example).
At 70mm x 117mm x 25mm (w,h,d) it is just about the size for the calculator. Printed in yellow and black this box is obviously meant to be as generic as possible and I would not be surprised if other calculators used it too. |
