| Comments: | It's easy to forget the impact that pocket calculators had on us when they first arrived. Never before did we have such power in our hands. A real piece of history. Early UK repress of this classic book. I have to admit, most of the games are pretty dull though. Each chapter is headed by nice computer-type font and the writing style is casual and enthusiastic. All the games are designed to be played on a standard four-function calculator. The book was conceived by Edwin Schlossberg and developed by John Brockman. | |
| Notable Quotes: | "Pocket calculators are new to our lives. Unknown five years ago, they are becoming as popular as televisions or hi-fi sets." "We are not so much interested in what your pocket calculator can do as we are in what you can do with your pocket calculator." |
