Text:

An 8 digit, 4 function calculator with
constant that's no bigger than a cigarette pack

No bigger than a cigarette pack, the Prinztronic Micro brings a completely new dimension to electronic calculators.  It's packed with many fantastic features.  And it's so small and light you can take it anywhere.

The Prinztronic Micro is an 8 digit, 4 function calculator.  It adds, subtracts, multiplies and divides.
Full chain calculation (e.g. 433 x 24.7 ÷ 3 = 3565.0333).
Fully floating decimal point
Constant facility for repeated multiplier and divisor calculations.
Operates on 4 penlight batteries.
Low-level battery indicator.
Comes with case and wrist strap.

Prinztronic Micro Only £49 or £5 down
and 24 payments of £2.24 monthly with Dixons Personal Loan

Comment: Rare 1972 Dixons brochure that covers not only this calculator but the Prinztronic C40, the Prinztronic MC65 and the Prinztronic MC95.  To our modern ears the description extols rather basic abilities - like being able to add and subtract and cope with chain calculations.  Probably the best strap-line is "You can take it anywhere" as an early pocket-sized calculator like this was quite a rare sight.  Why you would want to know what 433 multiplied by 24.7 was in a middle of a field is a mystery to us 21st century consumers - but the freedom it gave at the time was revolutionary.
