Typical bulging Texas shape with shiny key surround. Soft but positive click buttons. Very common calculator. Its contemporary TI-1000 had no memory functions, whilst the bigger TI-1050 had the addition of a square root function. |

| Logic comments: | Clear entry (CE) clears the last number entered |
| An error results in the display "E.EEEEEEE", overflows are not recoverable | |
| As there is no ninth digit, negative sign sits to the immediate left of a number. You can only have 7-digit negative numbers | |
| There is no indication of memory store - you have to remember it! | |
| Entering a nine digit number has no effect as input is suppressed | |
| The change sign (+/-) function can be used in mid entry of a number | |
| It has an automatic constant, though this is not mentioned in the manual. |

The box on the left does have a
rather odd optical illusion, tending to look as if it's leaning to the
right. Sides and top match the front design, with a list of 15
world-wide service centres on the back.
The box is just about the same size of the calculator - nothing extra was packed with this model. |

This manual covers not only the
1025, but the 1000 and 1050 in an impressive nine different
languages. It is one colour 32pp fan-fold format so is obviously
quite brief in its description.
