Comments:

Typical bulging Texas shape with shiny key surround.  Soft but positive click buttons.  Very common calculator.  Its contemporary TI-1000 had no memory functions, whilst the bigger TI-1050 had the addition of a square root function.

Construction:

Logic comments: Clear entry (CE) clears the last number entered
An error results in the display "E.EEEEEEE", overflows are not recoverable
As there is no ninth digit, negative sign sits to the immediate left of a number.  You can only have 7-digit negative numbers
There is no indication of memory store - you have to remember it!
Entering a nine digit number has no effect as input is suppressed
The change sign (+/-) function can be used in mid entry of a number
It has an automatic constant, though this is not mentioned in the manual.

TI-1025 box The box on the left does have a rather odd optical illusion, tending to look as if it's leaning to the right.  Sides and top match the front design, with a list of 15 world-wide service centres on the back.

The box is just about the same size of the calculator - nothing extra was packed with this model.

TI-1025 manual

This manual covers not only the 1025, but the 1000 and 1050 in an impressive nine different languages.  It is one colour 32pp fan-fold format so is obviously quite brief in its description.
