| Case: | Two-piece square-ish light beige and dark grey plastic case with black ribbed keyboard surround. Oversized blue display filter is topped with a painted metal logo plate. . Buttons are squishy but work well enough. Red LED mounted above the sliding switch (for overflow indication) is more like the early 1970s. Carry handle attaches to the top left hand side which is useful for.. swinging about! Rather dull colour scheme. | ||

Lovely early hand held calculator. The six digit, switched to 12 digit display is archaic but the calculator is well built so quite loveable. Original cover is black soft plastic with popper closing on the top. It is embossed on the front with Toshiba and has a hole for the strap to be let through. |

| Boards: | The keyboard is joined to its board by seven screws. This board attaches to the main cpu board via a 17-way ribbon connector. |
| Construction: | Remove the single screw from the back and the whole front of the case lifts off easily. |

| Logic comments: | (CE) is used once to cancel the last number entered and (C) to clear the whole calculator. |
| There is automatic constant on all four functions | |
| Input overflow is suppressed, inputting a thirteenth digit is ignored | |
| Negative sign is shown in the immediate left hand digit thereby limiting you to eleven digit negative numbers. Typing in (1...9 10 11 12) then change sign results in an error showing "E" in the first digit. | |
| The red LED lights to tell you there are more than six digits in the number displayed. The left/right arrow key is used to toggle the view. | |
| Divide by zero shows zero plus "E" in the first digit and is not recoverable | |
