Domestic Portable Radios: Etronic EPZ 4213 / EPB 4211 Portable Radios

This trader advert from July 1951 is one side of a two page advert.  The second half is plain text so of little added value to the image shown. As is common with portable adverts, the summer season is recognised as the time to stock; for picnics and touring pleasure.  This innovative design held back on the colour combinations (merely referring to "other contrasting colours").

The 'Triplet' and 'Rambler' are broadly similar and have a 4 valve, superhet circuit giving excellent performance on medium and long wavebands.  The cabinet is designed in plastic on modern, yet dignified lines in maroon and ivory, black and ivory, walnut and ivory and other contrasting colours.  Height 10½", Width 10", Depth 7½".  A feature is the neat, easy grip handle which is moulded to protect the station name scale.
