It's a Miss!

Nice idea that must have seemed sensible at the time. However, they failed to predict the future - when radios became so cheap that everyone has one in their HI-Fi, walkman, car, kitchen and bedside alarm clock. The trend was also towards the TV as the main form of home entertainment, table-top receivers would rapidly become a declining product. 

There is no mention of a power supply so this must have sucked the life out of the batteries pretty quickly. One more hybrid bites the dust - shame!
