Metal
Puzzles: Merit 12 Type 2
Undated (195?) variation of the large set of the puzzles.

|
Box of twelve metal puzzles consisting of lid and base in four colour printed card. Approximately 224mm x 145m x 22m (w x h x d) with an internal white plastic moulded tray. It has rectangular and square trays to hold the puzzles. Instructions are printed on the underside of the lid. By J&L Randall Ltd., Potters Bar, Made in England. High quality set of limited variance puzzles: mostly type 1 puzzles which are a bit repetitive, but two more interesting puzzles to grapple with. This set looks earlier that the copyrighted dated 1955 edition - and the plastic tray looks more basic so is probably earlier - any information would be most helpful. |

Type 2 puzzle.
Locked in shape. The small ring is held on the V-shaped holder,
seemingly locked in place by a bigger ring which it cannot go though.
To solve gather both rings together and get the large ring to go over one end of the retainer - it will then become obvious. |
