| Design: | Rounded spray painted cream with gold plastic speaker grill. Gold on brown tuning scale with gold coloured knob caps unfortunately make quite a dull impact. Aerial socket only with built-in ferrite rod aerial. Stuck on logo looks an afterthought. | |

| History: | Defiant was a brand from as far back as 1933, when the name was invented by the Co-op. Main stream wholesales refused to supply the Co-op as their dividend (points) scheme was seen a discounting. Co-op decided to defiantly make their own. Ironic these days when loyalty schemes are the norm rather than the exception. |
