| Design: | Brown bakelite case front and back with gold painted trim. Perspex tuning scale and loudspeaker grill with matching (gold capped) Perspex knobs. The Perspex lights up when the radio is on which is quite nice to look at. Back bakelite panel removes with four screws but it also has a bottom card panel attached with four screws. Moulded carry handle, feels solid and well built - lovely! | |

| Comments: | Slightly redesigned idea from the previous 1952 model 310A which also had a one-piece Perspex scale and grill that lights up. Most samples I have seen have crack/crazed Perspex, especially around the fixing screws. Also available in red, but I've never seen one. Doesn't run off batteries so obviously designed as a second set / transportable. Power consumption 70W. Base label states "Protected under British Patent Nos. 444723, 460871, 463604 and 522731. This receiving set is supplied on the express condition that it is not resold to the public below manufacturer's current price list and that no allowance, bonus, rebate, gift or other consideration is given or made in connection with its sale.
