Ultra
Electrics: Catalogues:
1947
This radio, radiogram and TV catalogue comes
from the first post-war Radio show at Olympia in London. It shows a
lovely artist's impression of the new Western Avenue factory and lists
nine products. As well as containing the popular T401, this brochure contained a
7-inch table top TV (V470) but with no price. Whilst Ultra
retained its interest in military supply it was determined to re-enter the
consumer business, with a vengeance.

For
over a quarter of a century ULTRA have been pre-eminent in radio
research. During the war, hardly and R.A.F. 'plane left the ground
without some ULTRA component; and now, ULTRA radio and television have
again taken their place among the technical leaders of the world.
Our radios are now leaving England regularly for every part of the Globe,
while here at home the London City Council has chosen ULTRA for its great
new school-broadcasting programme. You too can be the happy owner of
an ULTRA radio - there is a model to attract every taste - and, more
important still, every taste is superbly met. Products listed in this catalogue are; |
